Ather 450X Overview
Two battery choices let the Ather 450X suit different commuting needs: the 2.9-kWh version claims 126km, while the 3.5-kWh version claims 161km. Both top out at 90km/h and offer five riding modes, with 0-40km/h listed at 3.3 seconds. The larger pack brings more claimed range, but a full charge takes 5.15 hours versus 4.3 hours for the smaller one. Its battery is fixed, not swappable. Navigation and Bluetooth on the 7-inch touchscreen, plus 22 litres of under-seat storage, add practical everyday utility.
Both front and rear disc brakes work with CBS, and a pillion gets footrests and a grab rail. Against the Vida V2, the Ather has more power (8.59bhp versus 8.05bhp) and a higher top speed (90km/h versus 85km/h), but the 2.9-kWh version's claimed range trails Vida's 143km. The Ola S1 Pro is more powerful at 14.9bhp, faster at 117km/h and claims 176km; it is priced below the Ather.
