TVS NTorq 150 Overview
An automatic scooter with a 150cc engine, the TVS NTorq 150 is aimed at buyers who want more performance than a typical 125cc option without moving to a motorcycle. Its 13bhp output and 104km/h top speed are higher than the Aprilia SR 125’s figures, while its 40kmpl claimed mileage is a manufacturer estimate, not a guaranteed real-world result. The 22-litre under-seat space, front storage box and pillion footrests and grab rail suit everyday errands and carrying a passenger.
Against the Aprilia SR 160, the NTorq has more power, better claimed mileage, a lower seat and less kerb weight. Its Standard variant is priced below the SR 160, while the TFT variant sits around the SR 160’s starting price. The colour TFT and OTA updates are exclusive to the TFT variant. Both versions have single-channel ABS, which helps prevent front-wheel lock under hard braking, but the rear brake is a drum. Its 5.8-litre tank is also smaller than the SR 160’s.
