TVS Jupiter gets dual-tone Spectral colours, sequential indicators and more for Rs 89,825

TVS clearly isn’t treating the Jupiter 110 like a scooter that just needs to sit still and sell. The company has given its family favourite a fresher, more premium face with a new Dual Tone Spectral Range, priced at Rs 89,825 ex-showroom Delhi.

The new variant is available in two colours: Spectral Blue and Spectral Copper. TVS says the Blue shade uses its Spectral Colour Technology, which creates a shifting blue-purple effect depending on the light, while the Copper version gets a similar white-and-copper/purple treatment. It’s a proper visual change, not just a sticker job.

What’s new on the Jupiter Spectral range

The headline additions are easy to spot:

  • Dual-tone Spectral Blue and Spectral Copper paint schemes
  • Sequential Turn Signal Lamps, a first for the 110cc scooter segment
  • USB Type-C charging port
  • Colour-coordinated inner panels
  • New seat colour and partial chrome mirrors
  • Integrated pillion backrest as standard
  • 33-litre under-seat storage
  • SmartXonnect connectivity with navigation, call and SMS alerts

The sequential indicators and the colour-shifting finishes do the heavy lifting here. The rest of the package is aimed at making the Jupiter feel a little more upscale, especially for buyers who want their commuter scooter to look less utilitarian and more family-premium.

TVS has also kept the practicality intact. The scooter still offers 33 litres of under-seat storage, which TVS says is good for two helmets. That remains one of the Jupiter’s stronger cards against rivals like the Honda Activa family and Hero’s latest commuter push, along with TVS’s own Jupiter 125 range for buyers who want more space and a bit more presence.

Power comes from the familiar 113.3cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It makes 7.91bhp and 9.80Nm, so there’s no mechanical change here. In other words, if you were hoping for a power bump, this isn’t that scooter. TVS has instead focused on styling, convenience and a more premium feel.

For buyers, that matters because the Jupiter already sits in one of the most competitive corners of the Indian market. It takes on the Honda Activa, Hero Pleasure+, Hero Xoom 110, and even the more premium end of 110cc family scooters. TVS’s move is simple enough: protect the Jupiter brand by making it feel newer, smarter and more desirable without disturbing its commuter-friendly formula.

The price of Rs 89,825 is ex-showroom Delhi, and the variant will be available soon at authorised TVS dealerships. TVS has not announced a separate launch timeline for different cities, so buyers will need to check local dealer stock and on-road pricing before booking.

This update also fits neatly into the brand’s broader playbook. TVS has been steadily premiumising its mainstream models while also pushing EVs like the iQube. It’s the same strategy that helps companies keep volumes healthy without letting popular ICE products look stale. The recent sales momentum at Royal Enfield shows how strong the premium two-wheeler market remains, and TVS wants a larger slice of that aspiration-driven buying.

If you’re shopping for a 110cc scooter, the Jupiter Spectral variant will appeal most if design matters to you as much as everyday usability. If you want a basic commuter with no frills, the standard Jupiter remains the simpler bet. But if you’ve been waiting for a scooter that looks a bit more special without straying from the familiar Jupiter recipe, this is probably the most eye-catching version TVS has offered yet.
