TVS iQube Overview
The TVS iQube is an electric scooter aimed at daily commuters who want a choice of battery size rather than one fixed range option. Its six variants claim between 114km and 212km per charge, and the 770mm seat height on the base version is lower than the listed figures for the Chetak and Ather Rizta, which may help riders who prefer a lower seat. A portable charger is included, but charging is not fast and the battery is fixed and non-swappable.
The base iQube claims less range than the Bajaj Chetak, at 114km against 131km, while claiming more than the Honda Activa e’s 102km. The Activa e has more power, at 8.05bhp versus the iQube’s 4.93bhp. The iQube starts around the same price point as those two scooters, with higher-capacity versions costing more. Its 68km/h base-variant top speed and drum brakes at both ends suit a more measured commute than fast riding.
- Six battery choices offer claimed ranges from 114km to 212km.
- The included portable charger avoids a separate charger purchase.
- A 770mm base-variant seat can make it easier to reach the ground.
- Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation and distance-to-empty information aid daily use.
- Reverse mode with parking assist helps when manoeuvring in tight spaces.
What we like
- Wide choice of battery sizes and claimed ranges.
- Lower listed seat height than the Chetak and Ather Rizta.
- Navigation, phone alerts and live charging status are available.
- Regenerative braking and two riding modes are included.
What could be better
- The battery is fixed and cannot be swapped.
- Fast charging is not available.
- Drum brakes are fitted at both ends.
- The base variant’s claimed range is below the Bajaj Chetak’s.
Best for: The TVS iQube is best for commuters who want an electric scooter with several battery and claimed-range options, and can charge a fixed battery at home or work.
