Norton Manx Overview

The upcoming Norton Manx is aimed at buyers who want a high-output naked bike rather than a basic daily runabout. Its 1,200 cc, four-cylinder engine makes 206 bhp, backed by riding modes, traction control and cruise control. Dual-channel ABS works on both disc brakes, helping prevent either wheel from locking during hard braking. The 8-inch touchscreen adds Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.

Against the KTM 1390 Super Duke R, the Manx has more power, but the KTM makes more torque: 145 Nm against the Norton’s 130 Nm. The Manx also has more power than the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, which makes 180.5 bhp. There is no pillion seat or under-seat storage, and no claimed mileage is listed, so passenger practicality and fuel costs are hard to judge. It is not on sale yet; launch is expected in February 2027, and its price has not been announced.

  • 206 bhp from a 1,200 cc four-cylinder engine puts performance at the centre.
  • Dual-channel ABS helps prevent both wheels from locking during hard braking.
  • Traction control helps manage wheelspin, while riding modes offer different engine settings.
  • Bluetooth, GPS navigation and an 8-inch touchscreen bring key information together.
  • Cruise control can help maintain a chosen speed on longer rides.
  • Tubeless tyres can be repaired without removing the tyre from the wheel.

What we like

  • More power than the KTM 1390 Super Duke R and Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS.
  • Dual-channel ABS, traction control and riding modes are included.
  • Cruise control, Bluetooth and navigation add useful touring-focused equipment.

What could be better

  • No pillion seat limits its practicality for carrying a passenger.
  • No under-seat storage is provided.
  • No claimed mileage is listed, making fuel costs difficult to assess.
  • Expected price has not been announced.

Best for: The Norton Manx is best for performance-focused buyers willing to wait for an upcoming naked bike and who do not need a pillion seat.
