Ducati Desmo450 EDS Overview
The Ducati Desmo450 EDS is an upcoming petrol naked bike for buyers considering a 450cc option. Its capacity is close to the 449cc Kawasaki KLX450R and KX450, the two most directly comparable rivals by this figure. Ducati has set a March 2027 launch, but the bike is not on sale yet.
The main drawback is how much remains unknown: the supplied details do not list power, kerb weight, seat height, tank capacity or mileage, making performance, shorter-rider fit and running costs difficult to judge. Its expected price has not been announced, so it cannot yet be placed above or below the Kawasaki rivals on value. Buyers looking for a bike now will need to consider those on-sale alternatives instead.
