Ultraviolette Shockwave Overview
The upcoming Ultraviolette Shockwave is an electric adventure bike for buyers who want a light, quick motorcycle with a claimed 165km range. Its 120kg kerb weight is lower than the Yamaha EC 06’s 132kg, while its 14.5bhp and 120km/h top speed are well above the scooter’s figures. Long-travel suspension and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels give it an adventure-bike setup, and the pillion seat comes with footrests and a grab rail.
The trade-offs are a fixed, non-swappable battery and a claimed range below the Avore EX2S and Ultraviolette X47 Crossover. The included portable charger costs no extra, but a fast charger is not included. At its expected price, the Shockwave is positioned above the Yamaha EC 06 and Avore EX2S, but below the X47 Crossover. It is expected in March 2027 and is not on sale yet.
