The Quantum Energy Plasma suits urban trips for buyers who want an electric scooter with a choice of claimed range and battery type. The XR uses a portable 2.1 kWh battery and claims 100 km per charge, while the X has a larger fixed 3 kWh battery and claims 120 km. A 5-inch LCD with turn-by-turn navigation, under-seat storage and a pillion seat add everyday convenience.

The XR is lighter than the Ola S1 X, but the Ola is much quicker, with a 101 km/h top speed against the Plasma’s 60 or 65 km/h. Compared with the Ampere Magnus, the Plasma X matches its 65 km/h top speed but has a lower claimed range: 120 km versus 125 km. Both Plasma variants have drum brakes with CBS, and fast charging is unavailable. The X takes six hours to charge, making this a city-focused choice rather than a high-speed option.
