KTM 250 Adventure Overview
The KTM 250 Adventure is aimed at riders who want an adventure-style bike for commuting and weekend or highway trips. Its 227mm ground clearance and 200mm front and 205mm rear suspension travel suit rougher routes. The 30.5bhp engine makes more power than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 440’s 24.5bhp, while dual-channel ABS helps prevent either wheel locking under hard braking. A TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation is useful for finding your way on longer rides.
Its 177kg kerb weight and 825mm seat may be harder to manage in tight traffic or for shorter riders. Claimed mileage is 31kmpl, below the Kawasaki KLX230 S’s claimed 36kmpl. The KTM is priced below the Zontes 350T but above the Himalayan 440 and Kawasaki KLX230 models. It balances road-going power and touring-oriented equipment against higher claimed fuel use than the Kawasaki.
