Honda CB750 Hornet Overview
For riders wanting a sizeable step up in performance, the CB750 Hornet combines a 90.5 bhp twin with useful rider aids and a relatively low seat for this rival group. Four riding modes provide selectable settings, while dual-channel ABS helps prevent both wheels locking under hard braking. Its 795 mm seat is lower than the Kawasaki Z900’s and Triumph Street Triple R’s, and the TFT display includes Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation.
The pillion gets a stepped seat, footrests and a grab rail, but there is no under-seat storage. Fuel economy is a claimed 20 kmpl and the claimed riding range is approximately 200–230 km, so regular longer rides mean planning fuel stops. The Hornet makes less power than the Z900 and Street Triple R, but claims better mileage than the Triumph. It is priced above the Z900 and below the Street Triple R; cruise control is not available.
